Term Position: February 26, 2018 to March 29, 2019

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic individual who wants to work with volunteers, youth and their families with the ultimate goal to help children succeed. You will be responsible for enrollment, matching and training of volunteer mentors and children/youth in our Community-Based and In-school Mentoring programs, and to supervise and monitor those matches to ensure the healthy development of those relationships. The Caseworker will work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the Agency working closely with a caseload of Big and Little matches to maintain and build relationships.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a degree in education, social or human services, Family Studies or related field. Applicants must possess exceptional writing and communication skills as well as demonstrated leadership abilities. Casework experience is considered an asset. Training will be provided. Applicants must also hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.

We are accepting applications for a part-time position (17.5hours) which requires a flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends. Please note this position requires a significant amount of phone and email contact with clients and volunteers as well as extensive documentation. The Caseworker will not be working directly with youth, but rather facilitating healthy relationships among volunteers, children and their families.
