1. Where can I get tickets?
   Tickets can be purchased by mail, phone 1-877-411-3729 or 902-368-7758, by filling out the order form on our website or by visiting the BBBS HOME (located in the Charlottetown Canadian Tire parking lot) 
2. When is the BBBS HOME open?
   Mon-Sat: 10 am – 6 pm 
   Sun: 12 pm – 5 pm 
3. What methods of payment do you accept?
   Cash, Cheque, Debit Card, Visa, & Mastercard 
4. Why don’t you sell tickets on-line?
   Provincial law does not allow us to sell tickets on-line, but you can fill out an order form and we will contact you by phone to complete the sale.
5.  How many tickets are there?
   20,000 
6. When is the last day to buy tickets?

1. Where does the BBBS HOME come from?
   The BBBS HOME is a Prestige Home that was manufactured in Sussex, NB. It was purchased through PEI Home and RV.
2. How big is the HOME?
   It is 1024 square feet (16 ft by 64 ft) 
3.  Is the HOME winterized?
   Yes, the HOME is insulated. There are thermostat-controlled electric baseboard heaters in each room. 
4.  How much is the HOME worth?
   Approximately $220,000 including furniture, appliances & heat pump.
5. Where does the furniture come from?
   All furniture comes from the Furniture Gallery in Summerside. 
6. What is that thing in the laundry closet?
   It’s an air exchange unit. 
7. What kind of flooring is in the HOME?
   It is vinyl flooring. 

1. If I buy a book of 3 or a book of 5, can I put more than one name on the tickets?
   Yes, you may put different names on each ticket. Please be advised that ticket buyers must be at least 19 years of age. 
2. Can I put the tickets in a business name?
   We would caution against doing this as everyone who works in the business would be the legal winner of the BBBS HOME. 
3. Do I have to put a proper name on my ticket?
   Yes, because we need to be able to legally determine who has won the prize. 
4. Can I put more than one name on a ticket?
   Yes, as long as everyone is at least 19 years old. Something to keep in mind – We can only talk to the winners listed on the ticket, so a couple might want to put both names on their ticket. 

1. Do the front stairs come with the HOME?
   No, the front stairs and skirting do not come with the Home. 
2. Does the alarm system come with the HOME?
   The hardware for the alarm will remain in the HOME, but the Winner will need to contact Wilson Security to have it reconnected. 
3. Will you move the HOME?
   We provide one (1) free move and yes, we will move it to anywhere on PEI, but some conditions apply – please check the rules for more information. 
4. What appliances come with the BBBS HOME
   The appliances include an LG stainless steel fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. 

1.  Are there any other prizes?
   Yes, there are five other draws in 2026.  There is a total of over $20,000 worth of prizes in draws happening in May, June, July, August and the Customer Appreciation draw in September.  Please check out the prize page for a full list of this year’s prizes.
2. If I win an Early Bird/monthly draw, am I still eligible for other prizes?
   Yes, if you win an Early Bird/monthly prize, we will put your ticket back in for all the remaining draws.

1. When is the BBBS HOME Draw?
   September 11th, 2026 (unless we sell out early) 
2. How can I win the $150,000?
   Every ticket gives the winner the choice of the Furnished BBBS HOME (including appliances) or the $150,000 Cash Option.  The winner will have a week (7 days) to decide whether to take the BBBS HOME or the Cash Option. 
3. What happens if the winner takes the money?
   We will sell the BBBS HOME. Within 8 days of the draw, we will run ads which include a minimum bid and deadline to make your bid. We open all of the bids at once and the person who has the highest bid will get the furnished HOME which will be moved and set up on their property as part of the sale.  Please note: if you are making a bid, you must check for any covenants on your property that would prevent you from putting the BBBS HOME on your site.  If you would like to put your name on a list to be contacted if we are selling the HOME, please contact our Executive Director at Myron.Yates@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca or call 902-368-7760. 
4. If I win the HOME, can I sell it?
   Yes, but it would be risky (which is why we offer a cash option). The HOME still must be off the lot by October 31st. The winner will not be able to get insurance, which means we will have to retain insurance. In practical terms, that means that a staff member will have to open the HOME every time you want to show it. 
5.  If I buy tickets, can I get a tax receipt?
   No, we are not allowed to issue tax receipts for BBBS HOME tickets.
