The Great Big Giving Tuesday Board Game Drive

We’re partnering with bar1911 to celebrate Giving Tuesday with a really fun new event – the Great Big Giving Tuesday Board Game Drive! After shopping Black Friday & Cyber Monday, you can kick off the Giving Season in a really fun & simple way.

Drop by bar1911 on December 3rd between 5:30 & 7:30 with a new or gently used game & we’ll treat you to free coffee & mini donuts…..mmmmmm Donut Bowls! You can play a game, learn more about what we do, potentially win a door prize, and do good on Giving Tuesday!

We know that some of the best mentoring moments happen when you are doing the simplest things – like playing a game. DYK? We provide all of our In-School and Teen Mentors access to mentoring boxes filled with games, puzzles & craft supplies. Since we’re in schools right across PEI, that’s a lot of games!! By donating your new or gently used game, you provide mentor and a Little the to make a connection, while doing something they both enjoy. This Giving Season, your gift could ignite the power & potential of Island Youth!

The simplest acts create the biggest impact! Donate a game and help empower a child to succeed!  Can’t make it to our event or don’t want to wait to make a donation? Drop your games to our office at 2 St Peters Road from Monday to Friday, from 8:30-4:30 or you can make a donation online.   Ignite potential, make a donation to the Great Big Giving Tuesday Board Game Drive today!

….and if you have been thinking about becoming a Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple or In-School Mentor, here’s a really low key & fun way to find out more. Drop by & chat with a Mentoring Coordinator or one of our mentors. Since we make our matches based on personality & interests, you might be a great mentor for a child who is waiting. DYK? The benefits of mentoring flow both ways, so signing up to be a mentor might be the best Christmas Gift you receive this year! If you can’t wait to volunteer, you can sign up to volunteer online!
