CONGRATULATIONS DAVID MACDONALD, our 2022 DREAM COTTAGE Winner!
On Friday, September 9th at 2 pm, the Dream Cottage Draw was held at the Dream Cottage, located in the Charlottetown Mall parking lot. After some speeches thanking our sponsors & volunteers, Board Chair Tim McRoberts drew the winning ticket. Congratulations to David MacDonald of Surrey, our 2022 Dream Cottage Winner!
When Myron Yates, our Executive Director, phoned David, we found out that he and his mom have been buying tickets for more than 20 years. Although he currently lives in British Columbia, he was raised on PEI and comes home every summer to visit family and friends. David has decided to keep the Dream Cottage.
David has won this year’s wonderful Prestige Home designed by Rob at PEI Home & RV Centre, which includes some cool new features including an atrium roof design, front entry with deacon’s bench & tons of closet space, primary bedroom that includes a wall of walk-in closets, ensuite bathroom & piano window, and beautiful exterior finishes. The beautiful design is enhanced by the modern farmhouse inspired furniture and stainless steel appliances (in the kitchen) chosen by Julie from Hambly’s BrandSoure Home Furnishings. There is even a washer & dryer in the laundry closet.
