Ladner’s Source for Sports is a brand new Dream Cottage sponsor – they provided a Summer Fun Early Bird Prize for this year’s campaign. We had a chance to catch up with Ryan Ladner to discuss some of his mentors and to learn a bit more about why supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters is important to him.
Ryan believes helping children’s charities is important because kids “are our future…and they deserve the best”, so for him, it’s an honour to be helping kids out. He also has a special connection with our organization because he and his family participate in Bowl for Kid Sake together.
When asked about his own mentors, Ryan said his parents were some of his biggest mentors. They were always there to support him, help him to grow as a person, and they taught him how to make good decisions.
If there is one thing he wants you to know, it’s that Ladner’s Source for Sports is a locally owned store. The biggest thing for them is they “love coming here everyday and giving you the best service possible.” They love being able to see new customers in the store as well as old customers too – it’s really all about providing the best shopping experience possible. As hockey season has started, Ryan’s very excited to see a bit more normalcy in the store as everyone starts to get geared up for their season.
